Fran's Butterfly Fridgie    



Material needed :
Small amount of thread size 10
Hook desired size
Twist tie

Round 1 : Ch 6 sl st in first ch to form a ring ,Ch3 Dc in the ring, *ch 2 , 2 Dc in the ring* Repeat 6 more times replace the last ch2 sp with ch 1 hdc in top of beg ch 3.
( 8 - 2Dc groups)

Round 2 : Ch 3 , 2Dc in same space *3Dc ch2 3Dc in next ch sp *Repeat to last ch sp in the last sp do 3 Dc ch1 hdc in top of beg ch3.
(8-3Dc ch2 3Dc shells )

Round 3 : Ch3,4 Dc in same space *sc in the space between shells 10 Dc in the next ch sp of the next shell *Repeat to the last sp in the last sp do 5 Dc join with sl st to top of beg ch
(8-10Dc groups )

Round 4 : Ch3 hdc in the next Dc,ch 1 hdc in the next Dc (4 times) [[sc in the next sc *hdc ch1 in the next hdc * 9 times hdc in the last hdc of the group ]]
Repeat around, end with hdc ch1 in the last 5 dc sl st to top of beg ch3

Round 5 : sl st in the next ch spsc in same space * (ch2 sc in next ch sp ) * Repeat around Sl st in first sc

Finishing : Fold butterfly in half as to make 4 wings
Cut the extra paper off the twist tie ,cover with thread
Fold in half and tie over the center of butterfly as to make body
Curl ends to make antennas
